Mandolin, Fiddle

Fiddler and mandolinist Ellen Vigour plays traditional string band music with her old-time band, Uncle Henry's Favorites, who have been together for more than 40 years. She also performs as a duo with her husband Pete. She has been making music in central Virginia since the 1970s, and has performed and taught music at many festivals and camps, and has been the lead organizer of several successful music camps. She enjoys camping in the summer at old-time music festivals, and jamming with friends. When she is not playing music she is often found down on the river fishing.
