 Join Us

Before we let the festival season slip away to hunker down for the winter months, join Adam Hurt, Beth Hartness, Hilarie and Mark Burhans, Kay Justice, and Pete and Ellen Vigour for a few days of old-time workshop camaraderie at the base of Pasture Fence Mountain in White Hall, Virginia.

Designed for intermediate to advanced players, the emphasis will be on extra-small classes and one-on-one sessions to help you hone your skills on fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, and other instruments.  Apart from classes, you’ll enjoy mini-concerts by instructors and a bit of unscheduled time for fresh air, socializing and jamming. As a special treat, fabulous food will be prepared by Mark and Hilarie.

Pasture Fence Mountain Music will be held at Langeleigh Farm, a hillside homestead four miles from White Hall, in northwest Albemarle County.  The cost for the weekend of classes and meals is $400. Overnight lodging is not provided.  There are excellent cabins and B&Bs in the area, and we will gladly assist you to find ideal accommodations.

Sign up soon! This will be a small gathering, and spaces are limited.
